Character Info

Edward Heffron goes by the name of Babe. He's a redhead from South Philly and is a young, eager and brave soldier. He's got a spunky personality and a great sense of humour. He's currently training as a paratrooper and is on the way to becoming a replacement in Easy Company's 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.

Babe Heffron joined up as a paratrooper back when it was the cool thing to do among all the boys back home. Everyone was volunteering to be part of army. Some joined the tank corps, some joined up with the navy, some joined the air force but Babe decided to be part of the airborne. He wasn't all too keen about jumping from a plane (his first reaction to that was, "Are you crazy?"), but being a paratrooper would mean getting paid an extra 50 bucks a month more. And that was good enough for him. So the kid from South Philly ended up becoming part of the airborne.

Private Babe Heffron is responsible, not much of a complainer and he's extremely loyal to his buddies. Babe's always eager to crack a few jokes, shoot a few darts, play a couple of card games and have long drinking sessions with the rest of the men in Easy Company. He hates disappointing people, likes being challenged but has got enough respect for authority that he's wise enough to keep his ass out of too much trouble.

More personality wise, he's friendly, easy-going and is a really nice guy but he's not afraid to tell people off if they manage to piss him off enough. He likes being surrounded by his friends and isn't much for being a loner. He smokes, drinks, curses and hates being called Edward.
